Adopt a Mother Initiative: Enabling Collective Action for Maternal Wellbeing

Savemom launched the Adopt a Mother initiative to create a simple, scalable way for individuals and organizations to directly contribute to maternal and child health outcomes. The program is built on a clear belief: small, consistent contributions can collectively create life-saving impact when applied through a structured healthcare system.

The initiative encourages individuals to “adopt” a pregnant mother by contributing just ₹1 per day, amounting to ₹1,000 for 1,000 days of care. These contributions support continuous maternal health monitoring, early risk detection, and follow-up care through Savemom’s technology-enabled platform. The program focuses on preventive care during pregnancy and the critical postnatal period, where timely interventions can significantly reduce complications.

Adopt a Mother bridges the gap between intent and action by converting goodwill into measurable healthcare outcomes. Contributions are channelled into structured deployments, ensuring transparency, accountability, and real-world impact. The initiative also enables corporates, CSR partners, and communities to participate meaningfully in maternal health without operational complexity.

By combining technology, preventive healthcare, and community participation, Adopt a Mother reinforces Savemom’s mission to make maternal care accessible, continuous, and sustainable. The initiative demonstrates how collective responsibility, when backed by data-driven healthcare systems, can contribute to healthier mothers and stronger beginnings for children.
