Savemom by JioVio Healthcare was chosen as one of the top ten startups in the esteemed Code for the Next Billion competition, which was started in collaboration between NASSCOM and Facebook, marking a significant moment for digital healthcare innovation. With a focus on the bottom of the pyramid, this six-month accelerator seeks to enable social impact Entrepreneurs developing mobile solutions for India’s next billion internet users.
Bridging the Gap with Technology
Because of its innovative work in maternal healthcare, particularly in underprivileged rural communities with limited access to routine medical care, Savemom was selected. A system developed by Savemom uses a potent blend of mobile connectivity, AI-driven data analytics, and IoT devices to deliver Hospital-quality maternal care straight to homes and villages.
What Makes Savemom Unique?
With sophisticated sensors to detect Blood pressure, Haemoglobin, weight, Temperature, and fetal heart rate, the Savemom Kit offers a complete maternal health toolkit. Through the Savemom telemedicine platform, these readings are recorded and sent to physicians, providing real-time information about the health of women who are at high risk.
In the meantime, community health workers make sure no mother is overlooked by using the Savemom smartphone app to organise schedules, log health data, and receive notifications. In addition to lowering maternal mortality, this ecosystem provides frontline workers with the resources and education they require.
