Empowering Maternal Health Through Innovation

Maternal mortality is declining and safer pregnancies are becoming the norm Thanks to Savemom, an AI-powered maternal healthcare solution. Its acknowledgement by Yale’s Sustainable Health Initiative (SHI) demonstrates its expanding influence in the field of international healthcare. Through the SHI program, Savemom was able to broaden its audience, improve its strategy, and learn how to adjust to various healthcare markets across the globe.

Bridging the Gap in Maternal Healthcare

Savemom, developed by JioVio Healthcare, is a wearable maternal health gadget that resembles jewellery while remaining practical and culturally acceptable. The device monitors vital signs like Blood pressure, Heart rate, Temperature, Respiration rate, and Glucose levels, as well as sleep habits and weight increase, to identify potential pregnancy hazards.

Lack of medical personnel in Rural India prevents many expecting Mothers from receiving timely care, which raises the hazards of pregnancy. In order to address this, Savemom gathers real-time health data and safely uploads it to the cloud, allowing medical professionals to remotely monitor and administer prompt interventions.

Global Recognition and Expansion

Savemom has been able to improve its alliances, market positioning, and storytelling with the help of Yale’s mentorship, ensuring a bigger impact. Savemom was able to broaden its reach into private hospitals, International Organisations, and Government Healthcare initiatives because of the program’s assistance in understanding how various cultures use technology..

Over 2,90,000 moms have already benefited from Savemom’s early pregnancy problem detection and ongoing medical supervision through government partnerships and strategic alliances.

Adapting Technology for Public Health Challenges

The success of Savemom also made it possible for JioVio to incorporate its technologies into other public health campaigns, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The group modified their technology to produce Ocare, a real-time COVID-19 monitoring tool that aided district officials in efficiently managing public health actions and tracking those under quarantine.

In order to facilitate quicker and more effective health checks, JioVio has unveiled a portable screening tool for Airports. This novel system, which went beyond simple non-contact thermometers, gathered data in real time to assist stop the spread of illnesses.

Looking Ahead

Given its quick expansion and accolades from prominent universities like Yale, Savemom is still dedicated to growing its clientele and improving its technologies. These ideas will be scaled and more urgent Global healthcare issues will be addressed through future partnerships with Yale and other global health organisations.
