On the ninth edition of The Vault, a distinctive Indian reality TV program where businesses present their ideas to leading investors, the stage was illuminated with the spirit of creativity. Savemom, a maternity Healthcare start-up that attracted attention for both its technology and goal, was one of the noteworthy endeavours.

A Vision for Safer Motherhood

Pregnant women can use smart wearable technology from Savemom, a B2B MedTech business founded by Senthil Kumar and Divya Krishnan. The gadget, which resembles a straightforward bracelet made of beads, is anything but typical. It monitors:

  • Sleep cycles
  • Heartbeat
  • Basal metabolic rate
  • Glucose levels

Along with monitoring, it computes iron needs, reminds users to take their medicines, and links to a cloud-based system that enables remote health tracking by medical practitioners. With a 10-month battery life, this wearable is made to be simple to use in low-resource and rural environments.

A Platform for Innovation

Jatin Goel, the host and creator of the episode, highlighted how The Vault is helping businesses like Savemom succeed by providing them with a platform to develop, pitch, and locate the proper investors. The show has helped creative Indian entrepreneurs raise over 7 crore in funding over its tenure; all of these investments are subject to stringent due diligence before being approved.

StyleDotMe, a fashion guidance app, and Rooter, a fan engagement network for sports fans, were among the other enterprises discussed in the episode. But what really resonated with the Vault Keepers was Savemom’s scalable tech solution and social impact.

Driving Change in Maternal Health

Pregnancy is one of the most vulnerable times in a woman’s life, and Savemom’s wearable ecosystem is more than simply a device—it’s a lifesaving invention. Savemom is assisting in the reduction of maternal and infant mortality, especially in underprivileged rural areas, by providing ongoing monitoring and early detection of issues.

A Step Forward, Many More to Go

Being included on The Vault and acknowledged by DQ Channels is an indication of Savemom’s contributions to healthcare innovation being acknowledged on a broader scale. Savemom has the potential to revolutionise maternity healthcare in India and, eventually, the rest of the world if it receives the proper backing and keeps up its speed.
